Webinar: 'Monitoring Living Heritage in Education: Contributing to Heritage Safeguarding and Achieving SDG 4’
The webinar ‘Monitoring Living Heritage in Education: Contributing to Heritage Safeguarding and to Achieving SDG 4’ takes place on 26 January, 2021, 13.00-14.30 CET. The webinar is organized by UNESCO, hosted by the International Information and Networking Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in Asia-Pacific Region under the Auspices of UNESCO (ICHCAP) and sponsored by the Cultural Heritage Administration of the Republic of Korea (CHA).
This event is organized with the aim to raise awareness for the benefits and challenges of monitoring living heritage in education by sharing the results from the previous online expert meeting on ‘Education-related indicators in the Overall Results Framework for the 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage and their relationship with SDG4’. The webinar will feature experts from around the world who will share their experiences in integrating living heritage in education and discuss through a panel the benefits of this intersectoral monitoring. The webinar will be available in English, French, Spanish and Korean and viewers will be able to ask questions and contribute their ideas through a zoom live chat.
